Mr. Mohamed Ismail Mustafawi, Second Secretary at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Addis Ababa, representing the Embassy, participated in the meeting of the Expanded Mechanism on Sudan held on date  29/04/2024, where the African Union, IGAD and partners agreed to redouble and coordinate efforts to force the warring parties in Sudan to agree to uphold a ceasefire and adhere to it, very urgently, to facilitate the immediate arrival of humanitarian aid to various parts of Sudan and neighboring countries.
